My name is Samuel Pedro, and I believe in Jesus Christ. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and want to share what I believe. I am a lifelong member of the Church and I served a two-year mission in Denver, Colorado when I was 19 years old.
My faith in Jesus Christ is the most important aspect of my life. It has blessed me and my family tremendously.
My goal is to be a life long learner, in both spiritual and temporal things. I have developed a pattern of learning that works well for me. It consists of reading, writing, thinking, and finalizing my thoughts (turning my notes and writing into a finished product). As I have applied this pattern to my gospel study I have found my study to be more rewarding. I receive more revelation and I am clearer in what I believe as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Sharing some of my thoughts on this website is, what I believe, a great next step in furthering my own spiritual (and hopefully others) growth.
Doctrine and Covenants 50:24 says, “That which is of God is light, and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day.” I am seeking more light and want to share what light I have.
Creating websites is one of my hobbies, and I want to use the skills I have developed to create a space where I can share my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It will also help to hold me accountable to produce more, which means more time reading, writing, and thinking about the scriptures. If you are interested in reading my non-gospel writings you can visit my other website https://samuelpedro.com.
I want to clarify that the opinions on this website are my own, and my views don’t represent official declarations or positions of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I encourage all readers of this website to make the Book of Mormon, Bible, words of the living prophets, and other Standard Works the foundation of their gospel study.
